Can I set up Remote for Fire TV if I have completely lost the Firestick remote?

Remote Not Working

Why did my Fire TV remote stop working while the TV is fine?
The remote and the Fire TV are separate. Dead batteries or a dropped pairing link disable the remote, but the Stick or Cube stays connected to your Wi-Fi. That is exactly why a phone app can still control it while the remote is out of action.
What does a blinking orange light on my Firestick remote mean?
It almost always means the remote has lost its pairing with the Fire TV and is trying to reconnect. Holding the Home button for about ten seconds near the device usually re-links it. Weak batteries can trigger the same behavior.
Why has the volume on my Fire TV remote stopped working?
Fire TV volume controls the TV or soundbar rather than the Stick, so the cause is often the remote's volume link or the TV's control setup — not the Fire TV itself. A worn rocker or lost pairing commonly disables just the volume keys.

The core remote is genuinely free. The D-Pad, OK, Home, Back, Menu, playback, volume, and mute all work without paying and without an account. PRO is an optional upgrade for extra features, not for the basic buttons.
